However, Quarz was a good man, and very cordial too, who used to attend to lots of literature expositions, where he liked to show his work. During one of these expositions he met Natasha, who was very interested in his ability to materialize. She offered him a position at one of the power plants in Thembras, as a keeper using his creatures to deal with intruders. Very curious about this, Quarz accepted the offer with the condition that he would still be able to write his novels in the power plant. Natasha accepted.
